À la douce mémoire de
M. Maurice Tremblay
26 Novembre 1945 – 14 Janvier 2018

C’est avec tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès le dimanche 14 janvier 2018 à l’Hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls, à l’âge de 72 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Thérèse (née Petit), ses enfants : Luc Tremblay de Smooth Rock Falls, Pascal (Christine) Tremblay de Hallébourg, Marlène (Mike) Gagné- Clattenburg de Smooth Rock Falls, Jo-Anne Gagné de Smooth Rock Falls, Carole Emond de Quebec, ses petits-enfants : Joey (Wyntr), Darren (Chelsea), Ricky, Michel, Jérémy, Emily, Jack, et ses arrière-petits-enfants Shanelle et Arian.

Maurice laisse également sa mère Cécile, ses frères et ses sœurs : Ginette (Gilles) Gagnon, Marlene (Winston) Kennedy, feu Bibiane Tremblay, Harold Tremblay et de nombreux neveux, nièces, autres parents et amis.  Il fut prédécédé par son père Raymond Tremblay.

Maurice adorait le plein air, surtout aller à la pêche; ainsi que se promener en ski-doo,en pontoon avec la famille ou même faire du bois de poêle et aller en randonnée.  Maurice aimait beaucoup aider tout le monde et sa famille était très importante pour lui; son plus grand trésor était ses petit-enfants.

La famille accueillera parents et amis à la salle de l’Eglise Ste-Gertrude de Smooth Rock Falls le Vendredi 26 Janvier 2018 à 9h30 à 10h45. Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 26 janvier 2018 à 11h à l’Église Ste-Gertrude. Père Jean Morin présidera la célébration.

Maurice Tremblay

It is with heavy hearts that his family announces his passing on Sunday January 14th, 2018 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 72. He leaves in mourning his wife Therese (née Petit),  his children : Luc Tremblay of Smooth Rock Falls, Pascal (Christine) Tremblay of Hallebourg, Marlene (Mike) Gagné-Clattenburg of Smooth Rock Falls, Jo-Anne Gagné of Smooth Rock Falls, Carole Emond of Quebec,  his grandchildren Joey (Wyntr), Darren (Chelsea), Ricky, Michel, Jéremy, Emily, Jack, and beloved great-grandchildren Shanelle and Arian.

Maurice also leaves in mourning his mother Cécile, his siblings: Ginette (Gilles) Gagnon, Marlene (Winston) Kennedy, the late Bibiane Tremblay, Harold Tremblay, several nieces & nephews, as well as other relative family and friends. 

He is predeceased by his father Raymond Tremblay.

Maurice enjoyed the outdoors and loved going fishing, ski-dooing, pontooning as well as doing firewood and going on excursions. He had a big heart and liked to help everyone. Maurice liked to be surrounded his family and his pride & joy was his grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held at the Smooth Rock Falls hall on Friday, January 26th, 2018 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am followed by the funeral mass at 11am at the Ste-Gertrude Church with Father Jean Morin officiating.
