La famille vous annonce le décès de Roger au manoir Villa Minto de Cochrane, le vendredi 21 février 2020, à l’âge de 86 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Jacqueline (née Lamarche), ses filles Ghislaine et Lyne, ses petits-enfants Lee, Jonathan et Serena.

Roger sera manqué par plusieurs frères et sœurs du Québec, la famille Lamarche, neveux, nièces et amis.

Il est allé rejoindre ses parents  Johnny et Joséphine (née Noël) Girard et ainsi la mère de ses filles Antoinette.

Roger aimait beaucoup jouer l’accordéon et la musique.  Il aimait aussi travailler autour de la maison.

La famille accueillera parent et amis à la Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Ave, Cochrane, le vendredi 28 février 2020 de 14h à 16h suivi par suivi par un éloge en son honneur.

L’inhumation sera au printemps au cimetière catholique de Cochrane.

It is with heavy hearts that his family announces his passing at the Villa Minto Nursing Home of Cochrane on Friday February 21, 2020, at the age of 86. He leaves in mourning his wife Jacqueline (née Lamarche), his daughters Ghislaine and Lyne, his grandchildren Lee, Jonathan and Serena.

Roger will be greatly missed by numerous siblings from Québec, the Lamarche Family, nephews, nieces and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Joséphine (née Noël) Girard and also the mother of his daughters Antoinette.

Roger loved to play his accordion and music. He also like to keep busy around the house.

The family will receive family and friends on Friday February 28th, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm followed by a few words in honor at the Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South.

Roger will be laid to rest at the Cochrane Catholic cemetery in the spring of 2020.
