It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Rejeanne Groulx (Bisson) on November 8 2023 at South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls at the age of 87.
She lived in Cochrane for most of her life. She was a devoted wife. She loved to care for her family and others, to cook and bake pies, butter tarts, beans, and THE best ribs and wings. She loved long walks, and berry picking in summer. She was a proud Legion Lady. She loved to look her best and effortlessly put outfits together. She was a gifted knitter.
She had a deep appreciation and love for all animals and loved to feed the birds. She was a strong, loving mother and grandmother, and lovingly spoiled her grandchildren. Our “belle maman”, now at peace.
She is survived by her husband Emile Groulx of Cochrane; her children: Brigitte Pugliese (Mario Pugliese deceased), Lynne Groulx, Monique Desormeau (Glen Desormeau), and Rachelle Shnaidman (Shimon Shnaidman); her 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter Kathy Groulx; three sisters: Annette Bisson, Jackie Haughton, Rita Grant; two brothers: Georges and Phillipe Bisson.
At Rejeanne’s request, no service will be held. Donations in memoriam can be made to the South
Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls.
