M. Réjean Michaud

C’est avec tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu le 24 décembre 2019 à Sudbury, à l’âge de 78 ans. Il était le fils feu M. Gérard Michaud et feu Mme Yvette Michaud (née Plourde). Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Lina Michaud (née Carrière), ses enfants Paul Michaud, Lise (Gaétan) Houle, Richard (Sophia) Michaud et Lorraine (Clifford) Groulx, ses petits-enfants Jessica, Cory, Mekena et Casey, ses arrière-petits-enfants Kaydence et Kashtyn. Il était le frère de Pierrette Michaud, feu Gilles (Debbie) Michaud, Nicole (feu Larry) Cooke, Doris (Brian) Hofferd, Denis (Rose) Michaud, Judith Michaud, feu Jacqueline Michaud et feu Renaud Michaud. Il laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux neveux, nièces, autres parents et amis. Il fut président du Club de l’âge d’Or, président du Comité d’administration, président du Club de bowling et Chevalier de Colomb 3e degré.

La famille accueillera parent et amis à la Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Avenue, Cochrane le dimanche 29 décembre 2019 de 19h à 21h ainsi que le lundi 30 décembre 2019 de 9h30 à 10h30. Les funérailles auront lieu le lundi 30 décembre 2019 à 11h à l’Église Transfiguration de Cochrane et seront célébrés par le Père Richard Fortin. Une réception suivra à la salle de l’Église et l’inhumation aura lieu au printemps au cimetière Catholique de Cochrane.

Mr. Réjean Michaud

With heavy hearts his loving family announces his sudden death in Sudbury, Ontario on Monday Tuesday December 24th, 2019 at the age of 78. He was the son of the late Gérard Michaud and late Yvette Michaud (nee Plourde). He will be deeply missed by his wife Lina Michaud (nee Carrière), his children Paul Michaud, Lise (Gaétan) Houle, Richard (Sophia) Michaud and Lorraine (Clifford) Groulx, his grandchildren Jessica, Cory, Mekena and Casey, his great-grandchildren Kaydence and Kashtyn. He was the brother of Pierrette Michaud, late Gilles (Debbie) Michaud, Nicole (late Larry) Cooke, Doris (Brian) Hofferd, Denis (Rose) Michaud, Judith Michaud, late Jacqueline Michaud and late Renaud Michaud. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was past president of the Golden Age, the Bowling Club and 3rd degree Knights of Columbus.

Visitations will be held at Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Avenue, Cochrane on Sunday December 29th, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm and on Monday December 30th, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The funeral Mass will be held on Monday December 30th, 2019 at 11 am in the Transfiguration Church with Father Richard Fortin officiating. Reception to follow in the parish hall and the interment will be held at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
