Our family is sad to announce the passing of our boy Riley Spencer Archibald.  He suddenly passed away in Chilliwack BC on Wednesday November 18, 2020 at the age of 22 years old.

Riley leaves behind his beautiful partner Janice Gagnon and their 4 beautiful babies; Riley Jr Archibald, Joseph Archibald, Rose Archibald and Nevaeh Archibald.  Riley will be deeply missed by his parents Michael & Cherilyn Archibald, his mother Elizabeth Linklater and his siblings Tristen (Brittany) Archibald, Leo Wesley, Peighton Archibald, Kyle Archibald and Liam Archibald and one niece Camilia. 

Riley is survived by his grandparents Betsy and Chuck Connor, John and Charlene Archibald, Lucy (Ed) Wesley, John Red Linklater and his parent in-laws Chuggie and Cherlyn Gagnon.  Riley will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, in-laws, many friends he has crossed paths with throughout his life and his community of Taykwa Tagamou Nation.  

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday November 28, 2020 from 9 am to 11 am at Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South of Cochrane followed by the funeral service. The internment will take place at the Taykwa Tagamou cemetery.  ***COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE***

The maximum of people allowed in Funeral Home is 30% of its full capacity;

a maximum of 25;

The wearing of a mask by everyone in the church during the funeral is mandatory;

No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;

No food nor beverage services will be provided;

Washrooms will not be accessible;

Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two meters from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle;
