C’est avec le coeur lourd que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu le samedi 14 mars 2020 à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 88 ans.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Pauline (née Bougie), ses enfants Michel (Hélène), Luc, André (Angela), Lise (Lloyd) Emmerson, Diane (Bill) Mazey et Monique (Barrie) Parkman, ses petits-enfants Jonathan, Emélie, Jeff, David, Matthew, Ron, Daniel, Eric, Mark, Kristopher, Justin, Joelle, Christine et Natalie et ses arrière-petits-enfants Théo, Luca, Abbie et Jovie.

Réal était le frère de Marielle (feu Armand) Dubien, feu Lucille (feu Edgar) Girard, feu Adrien (Henriette), Rita (feu David) Rudyk, feu Paul (feu Jackie), feu Léo (Beatrice), Lorenzo (Pauline), Reina (André) Thomas, Fernand (Huguette) et Dorine (feu Jean-Guy) Carrière. Il laisse également plusieurs neveux et nièces autres parents et amis.

Il est aussi allé rejoindre ses parents Victor et Yvonne (née Gauthier) Perron.

Réal était un homme de famille aux multiples talents, toujours souriant et aimant la vie à son chalet. Il était un grand mentor pour plusieurs et aimait transmettre ses connaissances. Il aimait également travailler avec sa scie portative et regarder faire le processus de la coupe de l'arbre jusqu’à la fin.

La famille accueillera parent et amis le lundi 16 mars 2020 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h à la Maison funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane. Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 17 mars 2020 à 11h à l’Église Transfiguration, célébrées par le Père Richard Fortin. Une réception suivra à la Salle de l’Église et Réal sera inhumé au printemps au cimetière catholique de Cochrane.

It is with heavy hearts that his family announces his passing at the Lady Minto Hospital of Cochrane on Saturday March 14, 2020, at the age of 88. He leaves in mourning his wife Pauline (née Bougie), his children Michel (Hélène), Luc, André (Angela), Lise (Lloyd) Emmerson, Diane (Bill) Mazey, Monique (Barrie) Parkman, his grandchildren Jonathan, Emélie, Jeff, David, Matthew, Ron, Daniel, Eric, Mark, Kristopher, Justin, Joelle, Christine, Natalie, his great grandchildren Théo, Luca, Abbie and Jovie.

Réal was the brother of Marielle (late Armand) Dubien, late Lucille (late Edgar) Girard, late Adrien (Henriette), Rita (late David) Rudyk, late Paul (late Jackie), late Léo (Beatrice), Lorenzo (Pauline), Reina (André) Thomas, Fernand (Huguette), Dorine (late Jean-Guy) Carrière and will be greatly missed by numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Victor & Yvonne (née Gauthier) Perron.

Réal was a family man with many talents, always smiling and enjoyed the cottage life. He was a great mentor to many and enjoyed passing along his knowledge. He also enjoyed working with his portable sawmill to see & make the process from cutting the tree to the finish lumber.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday March 16, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9 pm at the Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South. The funeral will take place at the Transfiguration Church on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at 11 am with Father Richard Fortin officiating followed by a light luncheon at the church hall.

Réal will be laid to rest at the Cochrane Catholic cemetery in the spring of 2020.
