The family announces with sorrow his passing at the Lady Minto Hospital of Cochrane on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the age of 72.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Marie (nee Gagnon) Archibald, his children Philip (Pearl) Archibald, Gaston (Alice) Archibald, James (Alice) Archibald, Dawn (Michael) Corston, Stephanie Archibald, Jessica Archibald, Joshua Archibald. He was the beloved grandfather of Nicolas Archibald, Isiah Archibald, Margaret Archibald, Viola Archibald, Hunter Corston, Colbie Corston, Ashley Dionne, Katrina Sackaney, Angela Sackenay, Kyla Harop, Annie Jones and Dylan Archibald.

Peter was the brother of Joseph (Jeanine Riel), John (Charlene), late Gabriel (Lucie) and Paul as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Predeceased by his son Peter Jr. Archibald, his parents Thomas Archibald and Marie Rose Sutherland, and his siblings Margerite, Gaston and Garry.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at Génier Gauthier funeral home, 70 Seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 7pm to 9 pm and also on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 9:30 am till 11 am.

The Funeral service will follow on December 6, 2022 at 11:30 am at the Transfiguration Church, Cochrane.

Peter will be laid to rest at the New Post Cemetery.
