Larry is survived by his children Larissa Okimaw, Rylan Okimaw, Nate Okimaw, Haven Hughie, Xander Hughie and Alianna Hughie.
He also leaves behind his parents Collette (Clifford) Trapper, his father Xavier Edwards, his siblings Rodney (Linda), Nathan (Amber) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, he also leaves behind his Edward siblings.
Predeceased by his grandparents Jim (Josephine) Martin and Emile (Alice) Edwards, brother/uncle Hector Sackabuckshkum, his brother Smiley and Cathy Okimaw.
Larry was raised in Moose River Crossing by his mama & baba – Jimmy & Josephine. He lived in Moose River most of his life doing what he loved the most – hunting and fishing. He was a goose hunter and went every spring harvest to provide for his mom, dad and family. His late uncle Jules Sr. taught him how to hunt and live on the land.
Larry had a special-close relationship with all his aunties, uncles and they were a big part of his life. He was also very close to all his cousins that he grew up with. Larry had many close childhood friends that will miss him.
Larry loved his children deeply! You will be missed Larry. We will continue to cherish you and all the memories – especially all those made at “your happy place” in Moose River Crossing.

The Family service will be held at The Calvery Outreach Moosonee on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 7pm.
Funeral service will be held at the Roman Catholic Church in Moosonee on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11 am.
