Sonny Boy AKA Hector is survived by his children Adam, Josh, Nathan, Summer, his grandchildren Faith, Hope, Debwewin, Raine and Ariah.
He also leaves behind his siblings Mary Jane (Robert), Collette (Clifford), Frances (Dave), Louise (Merle), Annie (Brian), Maggie (Thomas), Theresa (Andrew), Alice (Johnny), Christianna (Rick) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sonny Boy was a very strong man who endured health issues for many years. He continued to live a full life to the end of his passing on July 23rd. Hector loved the land, the river, the ceremonies and the homeland of his ancestors of Moose River Crossing. His legacy will live on with his children, grandchildren and family.

Hector was the son of the late Jim and the late Josephine (nee Hookmawillillene) Martin.
The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South in Cochrane from 1pm till 3pm.
