Entouré de l’amour de sa famille, c’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Gilbert survenu le dimanche 4 juin 2023 au manoir Villa Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 73 ans.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Lise (née Génier) et ses enfants Chantal (Gérald) Paquette, Daniel Côté (Jennifer Williamson), Sylvain Côté (Chantal Chaperon) et Mélanie (Howard) Vachon. Il était le pépère de Renée (Austin), Christian (Brianna), Noah, Zoé, Clay, Isabella et l’arrière-grand-père d’Amelia.

Gilbert laisse aussi dans le deuil son frère Michel (Sheila) ainsi que ses neveux, nièces, plusieurs membre de la famille Génier et ses amis.

Il fut prédécédé par ses parents Wilbrod et Thérèse (née Morin) Côté.

Parents et amis sont invités au Salon Funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Ave South, Cochrane, le lundi 5 juin 2023 de 19h à 21h et le mardi 6 juin 2023 à compter de 9h30.

Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 6 juin 2023 à 11h à l’église Transfiguration de Cochrane

Surrounded by his loving ones, it is with great sorrow his family announces Gilbert passing on Sunday June 4th, 2023 at the Villa Minto, Cochrane at the age of 73.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Lise (nee Génier), his children Chantal (Gérald) Paquette, Daniel Côté (Jennifer Williamson), Sylvain Côté (Chantal Chaperon) and Mélanie (Howard) Vachon. He was the «pépère» of Renée (Austin), Christian (Brianna), Noah, Zoé, Clay, Isabella and great-grandfather of Amelia.

Gilbert will also be missed by his brother Michel (Sheila), many nieces, nephews, the member of Génier family, and many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and Thérèse (née Morin) Côté.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 5th, 2023 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday June 6, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

The funeral Mass will be held at Transfiguration Church in Cochrane on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at 11 am.
