It is with heavy hearts that his family announces his sudden passing in Kapsukasing, on Friday November 6, 2020, at the age of 51. He leaves in mourning his parents Peter Archibald and the late Annie Wesley, his siblings Gaston, Phillip, James, Dawn, Stephanie, Jessica, Joshua  and the late Petey.

Douglas will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends from Moose Factory and Moosonee.

The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday November 11, 2020 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Thursday November 12, 2020 from 9 am to 10am at Génier Gauthier Funeral Home,70 Seventh Ave. South of Cochrane followed by the funeral service. The internment will take place at the Taykwa Tagamou cemetery.

The wearing of a mask by everyone in the church during the funeral is mandatory;

No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;

No food nor beverage services will be provided;

Washrooms will not be accessible;

Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two meters from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle;
