C’est avec tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu dimanche, le 12 mars 2023 à la Villa Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 97 ans. Elle était la mère bien-aimée de Pierrette (Roméo) Girard de Cochrane, feu Roger, feu Pauline (Fernand) Girard de Hearst, Lucie (Bill) Hutchinson de Connaught, Marcel (Estelle Génier) Lamarche de Timmins, Stella (Guildo) Chassé de Québec. Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses petits-enfants Natalie (Alain), Tammy (Brett), Annie (Steve), Linda (James), Ryan (Melissa), Kara (Jan), Crystale (Adam), Adel (Maxime),  Joël (Melissa) ainsi que ses 15 arrière-petits-enfants Zoé, Jana, Maya, Élyane, Alexane, Cloé, Maverick, Karissa, Kenneth, Kendrick, Lucas, Lexi, Benjamin, William et Charles.

Dorsina était la sœur de Lorenzo (feu Olivette) Génier, Edouardina (feu Albany) Guilbeault, feu Victor (Claire) Génier, Léandre (Georgette) Génier, feu Ambroise (Yolande) Génier, Raymond ( Marceline) Génier, Normande ( feu Ronald) Dupuis et Béatrice (feu Bob) Lafleur. Elle manquera aussi à ses autres beaux-frères et belles-sœurs de la famille Lamarche, ses neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

Elle est allée rejoindre son époux Ernest Lamarche et ses parents Ernest et Oliva (née Ethier) Génier. 

Elle était filles d’Isabelle, membre du club Amical 50 plus et UCFO. Dorsina aimait beaucoup cuisiner, faire beaucoup de bénévolat et jouer aux cartes.

La famille accueillera parents et amis à l’église Transfiguration, 201 Fifth St. Cochrane, jeudi le 6 avril 2023 à partir de 11h jusqu’à midi.

Les funérailles auront lieu jeudi le 6 avril à 12h à l’Église Transfiguration de Cochrane. Une réception suivra à la Salle de l’Église et l’inhumation aura lieu au Cimetière Catholique de Cochrane.

With great sorrow her family announces her passing on Sunday March 12, 2023 at the Villa Minto nursing home in Cochrane at the age of 97. She will be deeply missed by her children Pierrette (Roméo) Girard of Cochrane, the late Roger, the late Pauline (Fernand) Girard of Hearst, Lucie (Bill) Hutchison of Connaught, Marcel (Estelle Génier) Lamarche of Timmins, Stella (Guildo) Chassé of  Québec. She also leaves in mourning her grandchildren Natalie (Alain), Tammy (Brett), Annie (Steve), Linda (James), Ryan (Melissa), Kara (Jan), Crystale (Adam), Adel (Maxime),  Joël (Melissa), her 15 great-grandchildren Zoé, Jana, Maya, Élyane, Alexane, Cloé, Maverick, Karissa, Kenneth, Kendrick, Lucas, Lexi, Benjamin, William and Charles.

Dorsina was the sister of Lorenzo (late Olivette) Génier, Edouardina (late Albany) Guilbeault, late Victor (Claire) Génier, Léandre (Georgette) Génier, late Ambroise (Yolande) Génier, Raymond (Marceline) Génier, Normande (late Ronald) Dupuis and Béatrice (late Bob) Lafleur. She will be missed by her in-laws of the Lamarche family, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Ernest Lamarche and her parents Ernest and Oliva (nee Ethier) Génier.

The family will receive family & friends on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 11 am to 12pm at the Transfiguration church 201 Fifth St. of Cochrane.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 12pm at the Transfiguration Church with followed by a light lunch at the church hall. Dorsina will be laid to rest with her husband at the Cochrane R.C. cemetery.
