La famille annonce avec grande tristesse son décès le lundi 20 juillet 2020 à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane à l’âge de 72 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Louise
(née Chalifoux), ses enfants Melissa Beaulieu (Ryan), Jessie Beaulieu et Tanya (Joe) Magnotta, ses petits-enfants : Selena, Damien, Riley, Alex, Dante et Lyla.

Bertrand était le frère de Benoit, Julien, Rose, Annette, Odette, Gaetan et sans oublier plusieurs neveux et nièces.                                                                                        

Il est allé rejoindre ses parents Anselme & Thérèse (née Labrie) Beaulieu, sa sœur Réjeanne (2004), Monique (1987) et son frère Adalbert (2004).

C'était un homme travaillant qui a commencé comme opérateur dans la forêt du Québec et du Nord de l'Ontario et a continué à travailler jusqu'à ce qu'il subisse son accident vasculaire cérébral. Il adorait se balancer dans son fauteuil à bascule chaque jour qu'il était à la maison. Il aimait la compagnie de sa famille, de ses nièces, neveux, de ses enfants, petits-enfants et surtout aimait sa visite quotidienne avec son frère jumeau Benoit et sa belle-sœur Thérèse. Il n’était pas du genre à parler au téléphone, mais il le faisait pendant des heures avec ses frères et sœurs au Québec.

Mari, père, grand-père, frère et oncle bien-aimés. Il a apporté un humour pas comme les autres et a laissé rire tout le monde autour de lui. Il a épousé l'amour de sa vie, Louise, le 15 septembre 2007, mais leur amour a duré 25 ans.

Tout en respectant les vœux de Bertrand, il n’aurait pas de visitation ou de service funérailles.

With great sorrow his family announces his passing on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane, at the age of 72. He was the beloved husband of
Louise (nee Chalifoux), father of Melissa Beaulieu (Ryan), Jessie Beaulieu and Tanya (Joe) Magnotta, his grandchildren: Selena, Damien, Riley, Alex, Dante and Lyla. He was the brother of Benoit, Julien, Rose, Annette, Odette, Gaetan and also be missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Anselme & Thérèse (née Labrie) Beaulieu, his sisters Réjeanne (2004), Monique (1987) and his brother Adalbert (2004).

He was a hardworking man who began as an operator in the forest of Quebec & Northern Ontario and continued to work right until he suffered his stroke. He loved to rock in his rocking chair every single day that he was home. He loved the company of his family, nieces & nephews, his children and grandchildren. And especially loved his daily visit with his twin brother Benoit, sister-in-law Therese. He wasn’t one to talk on the phone but would do so for hours with his siblings in Quebec.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother & uncle. He brought a humour like no other and left everyone around him laughing. He married the love of his life, Louise on September 15, 2007 but their love spanned 25 years.

In respecting Bertrand’s wishes, there will be no visitation and funeral.
