Bella Rickard Ross

November 1, 1947 – June 10, 2021

Bella passed away surrounded by her loved ones at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Thursday June 10, 2021 at the age of 73.

She leaves behind her spouse Donald, her children Katherine, Russell, Ian Turner and grandson John Michael.

 Bella was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and three jabans (great grandchildren) with one on the way.
She is survived by her brother William (Irene) Carey, Pauline Rickard and Elsie Rickard.

 We have to mention her dog Coco.

 Bella is predeceased by her daughter Brenda, her grandson Tecumseh her parents Abraham and Mary Rickard, and her siblings Danny, John, Bruce, Andrew, Jimmy (Alice), Norman (Kitty), and Susan.

 For most of her life, Bella worked with children; first as a teacher’s aide in Moose Factory and finally here in Cochrane with special needs.

 She loved being out on the land and was there whenever she and Don could get away.

 She will be missed. Forever in our hearts.

Private family visitations & Funeral service will be held at the Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave South, Cochrane. The Funeral service will be livestreamed on Monday June 14, 2021 at 11am. (Use the link below to join the family). She will be laid to rest at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery. ***COVID RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE***
