Alexandre “Alex” Carrière

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alex on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019 at the age of 71. He was the son of the Alphonse & Evelyn (née Bédard) Carrière. 

He leaves behind his friends Eric Crawford, Jim Robbins and Josée ( Dan) Cloutier.

Alex worked for several years at the Gardiner Ferry. He was well known for his big heart & smile. He would give his shirt off his back to help anyone in need. Alex always took care of his neighbours by shovelling snow or just to take care of the garbage bins… just to name a few.

Friends are welcome on Monday, April 8th, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:30am to express their last respect for Alex at Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane.

The funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 8th, 2019 at 11am at the Transfiguration Church of Cochrane with Father Richard Fortin officiating.

C’est avec tristesse qu’on vous annonce son décès survenu subitement le mardi 2 avril 2019, à l’âge de 71 ans. Alexandre était le fils d`Alphonse et Evelyn (née Bédard) Carrière.

Il manquera à ses amis Eric Crawford, Jim Robbins et Josée (Dan) Cloutier.

Alex était reconnu pour aider les gens autour de lui à n’importe quel moment. Un homme avec une générosité, un  grand cœur et sans oublier son beau sourire.

Les amis sont les bienvenue lundi le 8 avril 2019 de 9h à 10h30 à les Maisons Funéraires Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Ave. South de Cochrane.

Les funérailles auront lieu à l’église de la Transfiguration, lundi le 8 avril 2019 à 11h et seront célébrées par le Révérend Père Richard Fortin. Une réception suivra à la salle de l’Église.
