Alain Blais
August 7th, 1965 ~ May 9th, 2019

The family announces with sorrow the sudden passing of Alain on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the age of 53.  He leaves to mourn his wife Shirley (nee Cook) and his children: the late Alain Jr., Michael (Donna Brown), his step-children Douglas McCleod and Tammy McCleod.

Alain was the beloved grandfather of Cassandra Beaudoin, Caitlynn Beaudoin, Jaylin Sasseville, Ajayah, great-grandfather of Sophia-Lyn, James, Jackson and Noah.

He also leaves behind his father Georges, his siblings: Marc (Sylvie) Blais, Manon (Léo) Depelteau, Roland (Darlene) Blais, the late Angèle (Guy) Séguin and Paul (Marie-Hélène) Blais, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his mother Gisèle (nee Toulouse) Blais.

Visitations will be on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at the Ste-Gertrude Church in Smooth Rock Falls.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at 11 am at the Ste-Gertrude Church with Father Jean Morin officiating.
