January 10, 1958 – May 25, 2019

The family announces with sorrow the sudden passing of Shirley on Saturday May 25, 2019 at the age of 61.  She was the wife of the late Alain Blais and the daughter of the late Murray Carl Cleveland Cook and the late Jean Marie  Fountain. She leaves to mourn her children Douglas Mcleod and Tammy Mcleod and her step-children the late Alain Jr., Michael (Donna Brown), Gail Lamarche, Teddy Lamarche and Pam Lamarche.

She was the beloved grandmother of Cassandra Beaudoin (Zack), Caitlynn Beaudoin (Robbie), Jaylin Sasseville, and great-grandmother of Sophia-Lyn, James, Jackson and Noah.

She was the sister of Marie St. George (Paul), the late Mervin (Susan) Cook, Doug (Barb) Cook, Sharon (Daniel) Therrien and Patsy (Jacques) Huber and step-sister to Dan Boucher.

She was the sister in law: Marc (Sylvie) Blais, Manon (Léo) Depelteau, Roland (Darlene) Blais, the late Angèle (Guy) Séguin and Paul (Marie-Hélène) Blais.

She also leaves behind her nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a celebration of life in Kirkland Lake, date to be announce.
