M. Jean-Baptiste Brochu

24 juin 1944 – 23 mars 2018

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu subitement à sa résidence de Smooth Rock Falls, le vendredi 23 mars 2018, à l’âge de 73 ans.

Il était le fils de feu M. Joseph Brochu et de feu Mme Marie Drouin. Il laisse dans le deuil sa conjointe Anne-Marie Nicholson ainsi que toute sa famille. Il laisse également ses enfants Marie-Josée Morin et René (Tammy) Brochu et ses petits-enfants Nancy Morin,  Éric Morin,  Renelle Brochu et Mathieu Brochu. Il était le frère de feu Micheline Brochu (Réal Gagnon), Claude Brochu (Cécile Buissière), Henri Brochu (Florence), Gilles Brochu et Danielle Brochu (Charles Richard). Il manquera aussi à tous ses neveux et nièces, autres parentés et amis.

La famille accueillera parents et amis à la Salle de l’Église Ste-Gertrude, 48 ave Hollywood, Smooth Rock Falls, le lundi 2 avril 2018 de 19h à 21h ainsi que le mardi 3 avril 2018 de 10h à 10h30. Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 3 avril 2018 à 11h à l’Église Ste-Gertrude de Smooth Rock Falls. Père Jean Morin présidera la célébration et une réception suivra à la salle de l’Église. Il sera inhumé au cimetière de Ste-Germain-Boulé.

His family announces with great sorrow his passing at his residence in Smooth Rock Falls on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 at the age of 73. He was the son of the late Joseph Brochu and the late Marie Drouin. He leaves behind his spouse Anne Marie Nicholson and all her family. He also leaves in mourning his children Marie-Josée Morin and René (Tammy) Brochu and his grandchildren Nancy Morin, Éric Morin, Renelle Brochu and Mathieu Brochu. He was the brother of the late Micheline Brochu (Réal Gagnon), Claude Brochu (Cécile Buissière), Henri Brochu (Florence), Gilles Brochu and Danielle Brochu (Charles Richard). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Ste-Gertrude Parish Hall, 48 Hollywood Ave, Smooth Rock Falls, on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday April 3, 2018 from 10 am to 10:30 am. The funeral service will follow at 11 am in the Ste-Gertrude Church with Father Jean Morin officiating.
