C’est avec tristesse qu’on vous annonce le décès de Dolorès, vendredi le 3 mai 2019, à l’hôpital Lady Minto  à l’âge de 89 ans. Dolorès était la fille de feu Georges & feu Fleurette (née Mongrain) Lafontaine. Elle est allée rejoindre son époux de 64 ans Rosaire, ses frères et ses sœurs feu Jean-Marie (feu Germaine) Lafontaine, feu Noella (feu Gene) Lalonde, feu Richard (Antoinette) Lafontaine, feu Lucien (Rachelle) Lafontaine et feu Paulin (feu Madeleine) Lafontaine.
Elle laisse dans le deuil plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s.

Dolorès a commencé son enseignement à Norembega par ensuite à l’école St-Joseph de Cochrane pour plus qu’une quarantaine d’années. Elle était une grande jardinière dévouée à ses fleurs et son jardin. Elle était membre des Filles d’Isabelle et faisait partie du comité pastoral.

Les ami(e)s sont la bienvenue lundi le 6 mai 2019 de 19h à 21h et mardi le 7 mai 2019 de 9h30 à 10h30 à les Maisons Funéraires Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Ave. South de Cochrane.

Les funérailles auront lieu à l’église de la Transfiguration, mardi le 7 mai 2019 à 11h et seront célébrées par le Révérend Père Richard Fortin. Une réception suivra à la salle de l’Église.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolorès on Friday, May 3rd, 2019 at the Lady Minto Hospital at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Georges & the late Fleurette (née Mongrain) Lafontaine. Dolorès was predeceased by husband of 64 years Rosaire, her siblings: the late Jean-Marie (the late Germaine) Lafontaine, the late Noella (the late Gene) Lalonde, the late Richard (Antoinette) Lafontaine, the late Lucien (Rachelle) Lafontaine and the late Paulin (the late Madeleine) Lafontaine.

She also leaves in mourning numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

Dolorès started her teaching career in Norembega followed by the St-Joseph school of Cochrane for more than forty years. She loved to tend her flower and vegetable gardens. Dolorès was a member of Daughter of Isabelle and also the pastoral committee of the Transfiguration church.

Friends are welcome on Monday, May 6th, 2019 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane.

The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at 11am at the Transfiguration Church of Cochrane with Father Richard Fortin officiating.
