It is with heavy hearts that his family announces his unexpected passing on Friday December 13, 2019 in Cochrane at the age of 46. He leaves in behind his wife Mary Jane Archibald, his children Kara Tremblay, Aaron Tremblay, Chelsea Tremblay, his two granddaughters Willow, Sequoia Tremblay, his mother Martha Mary Gelinas and also the mother of his children Ana, a friend for over 26 years. 

Brian was the brother of Marlene (Jeff) Gelinas-Martin, Joanne (Russ Wesley), Michael (Sylvina Rickard) Gelinas, Nicole Gelinas, Lise Gelinas, Benoit Gelinas and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father Camille Gelinas.

Brian loved the bush and respected the land, it provided for him and he shared that with others. The bush was his place of peace and that's where he went home.

The family will receive family & friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 7 pm to 9 pm and also on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 9:30 am the Génier Gauthier funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane followed by funeral service at 11 am at the Transfiguration Church with Reverend Father Richard Fortin officiating.
