C’est avec tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu le mercredi 14 février 2024 à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 77 ans.

Il était le fils de feu Joseph et de feu Pierrette Lamothe (née Dupuis).

Il laisse dans le deuil sa tendre épouse Annette (née Pinion). Il était le père de Daniel (Audrey), feu Jason, Jody et Brian (Pamela), le grand-père de Michael, Kayla, Tristan (Émilie), Naima-Bella, Ezrah, Brody, Novah, Zenya et Henzley, et l’arrière-grand-père de Lukas, Blake, Ava, Kyerah et Leyah.

Il était le frère de feu Danielle, feu Rosanne, feu Jasmine, feu Michel, feu Chrystal, Roger (Pauline), Rachel (André), Céline (Alain), Pierre, François, Denise (Raymond), Darcy (Gisele), Jules, le beau-frère de feu Donald et Doris (Steve). Il laisse également plusieurs neveux et nièces. Gaëtan était bien aimé par de nombreux amis (es) et il nous manquera à tous.

Une célébration de sa vie aura lieu au printemps avec une date à venir. Gaëtan sera inhumé au cimetière catholique près de son fils Jason.

Un grand merci aux docteurs et infirmiers(ères) de l'hôpital du district de Timmins et de l'hôpital Lady Minto qui ont pris grand soin de notre père.

It is with great sorrow his family announces his passing on Wednesday, February14, 2024 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane, at the age of 77.

He was the son of the late Joseph and the late Pierrette Lamothe (nee Dupuis).

He leaves behind his beloved wife Annette (nee Pinion). He was the father of Daniel (Audrey), late Jason, Jody and Brian (Pamela), grandfather of Michael, Kayla, Tristan (Émilie), Naima-Bella, Ezrah, Brody, Novah, Zenya and Henzley and great-grandfather of Lukas, Blake, Ava, Kyerah and Leyah.

He was the brother of the late Danielle, late Rosanne, late Jasmine, late Michel, late Chrystal, Roger (Pauline), Rachel (André), Céline (Alain), Pierre, François, Denise (Raymond), Darcy (Gisele), Jules and the brother in-law of the late Donald and Doris (Steve). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Gaëtan was well loved by many friends and will be missed by many.

A celebration of his life will be held in the spring, a date to be announced.

Gaëtan will be buried in the Catholic cemetery near his son Jason.
