La famille annonce avec tristesse son décès survenu à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane, le mercredi 28 mars 2018, à l’âge de 91 ans.Elle était l’épouse de feu M. Armand Nerbonne et la fille de feu M. Alzeard Girard et Mme Léonida Paiement.

Elle était la tendre mère de Réjean Nerbonne, Diane (Guy) Desforges et de feu Michel Nerbonne, la grand-mère adorée de Mario Nerbonne (Sam) et Raymond Desforges (Sandra), l’arrière-grand-mère de Michael, Ashley et Angela Desforges et l’arrière-arrière-grand-mère de Fete et Damon.

Elle était la sœur de Lucien Girard, Cécile (feu Ernest) Legaré, feu Antonio (feu Simone) Girard, feu François (feu Pauline) Girard, feu Émile (Liliane) Girard, Feu André (Germaine) Girard, feu Lucille ( feu Jean) Ethier, et feu Fleurette Girard.

Elle était la belle-sœur de Dolores (Gaston) Janson, Rachelle (feu Lucien) Lafontaine, Rose-Aimée (feu Marcel) Jetté, feu Jeannette Génier, feu Gabrielle Allard,  feu Anestine (feu Gerry Mayer), feu René (feu Pauline), feu Léonard et  feu Annette Vaillancourt. Elle laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

La famille accueillera parents et amis à la Maison funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70, 7ieme Ave, Cochrane, le lundi 2 avril 2018 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 3 avril 2018 à 10h30 à l’Église Transfiguration, Cochrane. Père Rémi Lessard présidera la célébration et une réception suivra à la salle de l’Église. Mme Nerbonne sera inhumée au cimetière catholique de Cochrane.

It is with heavy hearts that her family announces her passing on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 91. She leaves in mourning her children: Réjean Nerbonne, Diane (Guy) Desforges and the late Michel Nerbonne, grandmother to Mario Nerbonne (Sam) and Raymond Desforges (Sandra), great-grandmother to Michael, Ashley and Angela Desforges and great-great-grandmother to Fete and Damon.

Yvonne also leaves in mourning her siblings: Lucien Girard, Cécile (the late Ernest) Legaré, the late Antonio (the late Simone) Girard, the late François (the late Pauline) Girard, the late Émile (Liliane) Girard, the late André (Germaine) Girard, the late Lucille (the late Jean) Ethier, and the late Fleurette Girard, her in-laws: Dolores (the late Gaston) Janson, Rachelle (the late Lucien) Lafontaine, Rose-Aimée (the late Marcel) Jetté, the late Jeannette Génier, the late  Gabrielle Allard,  the late Anestine (the late Gerry Mayer),the late  René (the late Pauline), the late  Léonard and the late Annette Vaillancourt and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Armand and her parents Alzeard Girard and Léonida Paiement.

The family will receive family & friends on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm & 7 pm to 9 pm and also on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 9 am to 10 am at Les Maisons Funéraires Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South in Cochrane.

The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Transfiguration Church of Cochrane with Father Rémi Lessard officiating followed by a light lunch at the Transfiguration church hall.
