In Loving Memory of
Yvon Taylor
December 10th, 1958 ~ July 8th, 2017

With great sorrow his family announces his sudden passing on Saturday July 8th, 2017 at the age of 58. He was the son of the late Alfred & the late Marie-Marthe (nee Paradis) Taylor. He leaves in mourning his loving wife Kathleen (nee Waslyk ), his children: Todd (Julie) Taylor of Estevan, SK., Jessica (Matthew) Taylor- Palmer of Bowmanville and Karen (Steve) Nizzero of Sudbury.

Yvon was the beloved grandfather of his cherished grandchildren: Trent and Charley Taylor and Ellie and Grace Nizzero.

He was the brother of Roger (Rachel) Taylor, Daniel (Claire) Taylor, Denise (Bruce) Marshall, Alain (Chantal) Taylor and brother-in-law of Ken (Jill), John (Darlene), and Leslie (Denis). He was a loving son-in-law to Walter (predeceased) and Jeannine Waslyk. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Yvon loved his family and was so proud of his grandchildren. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone, a man with a heart of gold. He also loved the outdoors, riding his motorcycle and tractor, going fishing, snow- shoeing. Yvon was an exceptional carpenter, a man of many talents “Jack of all trades”. He will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14th, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm & 7pm to 9pm at the Sainte-Gertrude hall in Smooth Rock Falls.

The memorial service will be held at the Sainte-Gertrude Church on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 at 11 am with Reverend Jean Morin officiating.

Sa famille vous annonce avec une profonde tristesse le décès inattendu d’Yvon survenu le samedi 8 juillet 2017, à l’âge de 58 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Kathleen (née Waslyk), ses enfants : Todd (Julie) Taylor d’Estevan, SK., Jessica (Matthew) Taylor- Palmer de Bowmanville et Karen (Steven) Nizzero de Sudbury.

Yvon était le grand-papa adoré de Trent & Charley Taylor, Ellie & Grace Nizzero.

Yvon était le fils de feu Alfred & feu Marie-Marthe (née Paradis) Taylor. Il sera manqué par ses frères et sa sœur: Roger (Rachel) Taylor, Daniel (Claire) Taylor, Denise (Bruce) Marshall, Alain (Chantal) Taylor. Il était le gendre bien-aimé de feu Walter & Jeannine Waslyk et le beau-frère de Ken (Jill), John (Darlene), Leslie (Denis) et ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux et ses plusieurs amis.

Il était très fier de ses petits-enfants & aimait beaucoup sa famille. Yvon était un homme avec un grand cœur d’or & toujours prêt à aider. Il aimait aller se promener avec son Harley-Davidson et aussi son tracteur. Yvon avait beaucoup de talents pour travailler le bois. Il aimait aussi aller à la pêche & faire de la raquette. Il va être manqué par plusieurs.

La famille recevra parents & amis, vendredi le 14 juillet 2017 à partir de 14h à 16h et ainsi que 19h à 21h à la salle de l’église Ste-Gertrude de Smooth Rock Falls.

Les funérailles auront lieu à 11h à l’Église Ste-Gertrude de Smooth Rock Falls le samedi 15 juillet 2017. Père Jean Morin présidera la célébration.

Pour ceux et celles qui le désirent, la famille apprécierait des dons en faveur à la Fondation de l’Hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls ou la fondation des maladies du coeur.
