Wesley Lien

July 17th, 1961 – January 10th, 2018

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday January 10th, 2018 at his residence in Smooth Rock Falls at the age of 56. He was the son of Leon Lien and Gertrude Lien (nee Eckert). Cherished husband of Rosette Lien (nee Leblanc), son-in-law of Marie-Rose Leblanc (nee Dufour) and the late Lucien Leblanc, father of Julie (Lawrence) Jacques, grandfather of Isaak, Isaiah and Elijah Jacques, brother of Loretta (Brent) Hannah, Bev (Mike) Daniele, Ivan Lien and Bonnie (Paul) Miller, brother-in-law of Alain (Colette) Leblanc, Lucie Leblanc, Louise Leblanc, Diane (Armand) Picard, Michel Leblanc, late Luc Leblanc, Tina (Sylvain) Lafrance and Daniel Leblanc (André Charette). Wes will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitations will be held on Friday January 19th, 2018 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Sainte-Gertrude hall in Smooth Rock Falls. The funeral mass will be held at the Sainte-Gertrude Church, Smooth Rock Falls on Saturday January 20th, 2018 at 11 am with Reverend Jean Morin officiating. The reception will follow in the parish hall and the interment will take place at the Smooth Rock Falls cemetery in the spring.
