Mme Thérèse Thomas
(née Aubin)
25 septembre 1942 – 11 novembre 2017

C’est avec tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu le samedi 11 novembre 2017 à l’hôpital de Timmins et du district, à l’âge de 75 ans. Elle était l’épouse de feu Raymond Thomas  (2011) et la fille de feu Robert Aubin et de feu Alice (née Morin). Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Carole (Greg) Groulx, Lorraine (feu Tom) Shier (Yves Berthiaume) et Daniel Thomas tous de Cochrane, ses petits-enfants: Eric, Brandy, Hilary, Jesse, Michelle, Bradley, Adèle et ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants  Thomas & Emma.

Elle laisse également ses frères et sœurs: Rita (George) Côté, feu Marguerite (feu Alfred) Bérubé, André (feu Elsie) Aubin, René (Lorrena) Aubin, Denise (Jean-Guy) Trépanier, feu Gérard Aubin.

Elle laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

Thérèse était filles d’Isabelle et elle toujours prête à donner un coup de main. Son plus grand bonheur était d’être entouré de sa famille. Elle aimait aussi aller jouer au bingo, faire du tricot et surtout les voyages organiser pour le Casinorama.

La famille accueillera parents et amis à la Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70, 7ième avenue sud, Cochrane, le mardi 14 novembre 2017 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le mercredi 15 novembre 2017 de 12h30 à 13h30. Les funérailles auront lieu le mercredi 15 novembre 2017 à 14h à l’Église Transfiguration de Cochrane. Père Fernand Villeneuve présidera la célébration. L’inhumation aura lieu au Cimetière Catholique de Cochrane.

With great sorrow her family announces her passing on Saturday November 11th, 2017 at the Timmins & District Hospital in Timmins at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife the late Raymond Thomas (2011), daughter of the late Robert Aubin and the late Alice (nee Morin). She leaves in mourning her children: Carole (Greg) Groulx, Lorraine (late Tom) Shier (Yves Berthiaume) and Daniel Thomas all of Cochrane, her grandchildren: Eric, Brandy, Hilary, Jesse, Michelle, Bradley, Adèle and her great-children Thomas & Emma.

She also leaves in mourning her siblings: Rita (George) Côté, the late Marguerite (the late Alfred) Bérubé, André (the late Elsie) Aubin, René (Lorrena) Aubin, Denise (Jean-Guy) Trépanier and as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Thérèse loved to be surrounded be her family. She was a member of “Filles d’Isabelle” and always ready to give a helping hand. She also like going to the bingo, knit and also take the organized trip to the Casinorama.  

Visitation will be held Génier Gauthier funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 from 2 pm to 4pm and also from 7pm to 9pm and on Wednesday November 15th, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 1:30pm.

The Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 at 2 pm at the Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating followed by the interment at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery.
