In Loving Memory of
Mrs. Lucille Girard
(nee Perron)
February 17th, 1928 – January 12th, 2018

 
With great sorrow her family announces her passing on Friday January 12th, 2018 at the Timmins & District Hospital – Hospice unit, at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Victor Perron and the late Yvonne Perron (nee Gauthier). She leaves in mourning her beloved husband of almost 70 years Edgar Girard. She was the cherished mother of Claire (Frank) Prior of Cochrane, Lise (Dave) Kosloski of Morrisburg, Yves (Sharon) Girard, Liette (Ralph) Girard, late Gaetan Girard and late Marc (Coco), grandmother of Murray (Heather), late Christopher, Cynthia, Randy (Jolene), Sheila (Guy), Amanda (Tom), Kelly-Ann (Dan), Trevor (Kim) and Stephanie (Eric). She also leaves behind 12 beloved great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Marielle (late Armand) Dubien, late Adrien (Henriette) Perron, Rheal (Pauline) Perron, Rita (late David) Rudyk, late Paul (late Jackie) Perron, late Leo (Beatrice) Perron, Lorenzo (Pauline) Perron, Reina (André) Thomas, Fernand (Huguette) Perron, Doreen (late Jean-Guy) Carriere. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lucille will be forever remembered for her amazing cooking and sewing skills. She also loved reading, travel with her motorhome and crafting furniture with her dear husband. She had an unconditional love for her family whom she took great pleasure at spoiling. 

Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 149 Third Street West, Cochrane on Monday January 15th, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday January 16th, 2018 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am. The Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12 noon with Father Rémi Lessard officiating.

C’est avec une grande tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu le vendredi 12 janvier 2017 aux soins intensifs de l’hôpital de Timmins et du district, à l’âge de 89 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Victor Perron et de feu Yvonne Perron (née Gauthier).

Elle laisse dans le deuil son tendre époux depuis presque 70 ans Edgar Girard. Elle était la mère de Claire (Frank) Prior de Cochrane, Lise (Dave) Kosloski de Morrisburg, Yves (Sharon) Girard, Liette (Ralph) Girard, feu Gaetan Girard et feu Marc (Coco),la grand-mère de Murray (Heather), feu Christopher, Cynthia, Randy (Jolene), Sheila (Guy), Amanda (Tom), Kelly-Ann (Dan), Trevor (Kim) et Stephanie (Eric). Elle laisse également ses 12 arrière-petits-enfants bien- aimés.  Elle était la sœur de Marielle (feu Armand) Dubien, feu Adrien (Henriette) Perron, Rheal (Pauline) Perron, Rita (feu David) Rudyk, feu Paul (feu Jackie) Perron, feu Leo (Beatrice) Perron, Lorenzo (Pauline) Perron, Reina (André) Thomas, Fernand (Huguette) Perron, Doreen (feu Jean-Guy) Carriere. Elle laisse aussi de nombreux neveux et nièces autres parents et amis.

On se souviendra toujours de Lucille pour ses talents culinaires et de couture. Elle aimait aussi lire, voyager avec son motorisé et confectionner des meubles avec son cher mari. Elle avait un amour inconditionnel pour sa famille qu'elle prenait grand plaisir à gâter.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 149 Third Street, Cochrane, le lundi 15 janvier 2018 de 19h à 21h et le mardi 16 janvier 2018 de 10h30 à 11h45. Une célébration suivra à 12h à la chapelle du Salon funéraire avec le Père Rémi Lessard.
