C’est avec une profonde tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu le samedi 14 avril 2018 à Villa Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 88 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Louis et de feu Georgianna (née Gagné) Larivée. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Lina (Yves) Nobert, Léon (Denise) Lamarche, ses petits-enfants: Jason (Sarah), Daniel (Kaela), Cindy (Maurice), Eric (Stéphanie), Luc (Sarah), Alain (Amanda), ses arrière-petits-enfants : Easton, Kinsley, Kallie, Brady, Hailey, Kallie, Landon et Ariel.

Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses sœurs et son frère: Gabrielle Larivée, Adrien (Eillen) Larivée, Rita (Roland) Lamarche, Germaine (Raymond) Fortier, Jeannette Larivée, Annette Larivée, sa belle-sœur Léona Larivée ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents, amies et amis.

Elle est allée rejoindre le père de ses enfants Omer, sa fille Diane Lamarche, ses parents et ses frères : Lucien et Fernand.

La famille demande de respecter leur intimité. Une rencontre familiale privé aura lieu à la Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70, 7e Ave, Cochrane, le mardi 17 avril 2018 de 10h jusqu’à 11h. Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 17 avril 2018 à 11h à la Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier. Père Rémi Lessard et Pasteur Robert Cox présideront la célébration. L’inhumation aura lieu au Cimetière Catholique de Cochrane au printemps.

With great sorrow her family announces her passing on Saturday April 14th, 2018 at the Villa Minto nursing home in Cochrane at the age of 88. She was the daughter of the late Louis and the late Georgianna (née Gagné) Larivée. She leaves in mourning her children: Lina (Yves) Nobert, Léon (Denise) Lamarche, her grandchildren: Jason (Sarah), Daniel (Kaela), Cindy (Maurice), Eric (Stephanie), Luc (Sarah), and Alain (Amanda), her great-grandchildren: Easton, Kinsley, Kallie, Brady, Hailey, Kallie, Landon and Ariel.

She also leaves in mourning her siblings: Gabrielle Larivée, Adrien (Eillen) Larivée,Rita (Roland) Lamarche,  Germaine (Raymond) Fortier, Jeannette Larivée, Annette Larivée, her sister-in-law Léona Larivée as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Irène was predeceased by the father of her children Omer, her daughter Diane Lamarche, her parents and her siblings: Lucien and Fernand.

In respecting the family wishes, a private family gathering will be held at the Génier Gauthier funeral Home, 70, 7e Ave. South, Cochrane on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 from 10 am to 11 am. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 at 11 am at the Génier Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel. Father Rémi Lessard and Pastor Robert Cox will be officiating.  The interment will be held at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery in the spring of 2018.
