October 28th, 1918 – October 18th, 2017

It is with great sorrow the family announces her passing on Wednesday October 18th, 2017 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 98. She leaves her children the late Thomas, late Cecile (George), Dorothy (George), late Dwight (Rollande), Daisy (Garfield), late Peter (Ethel), Bernice, Stanley (Elizabeth), late Ronald. She will sadly be missed by 38 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, 67 great-great grandchildren, 3 great-great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other parents and friends. She was predeceased her parents George ’’Dot’’ and Annie Carey (nee Smallboy) and her siblings George Carey, Jim Carey, Grace Croston (nee Carey) and Mike Corston.

Visitation will be held Génier Gauthier funeral Home, 70, 7e Ave. South, Cochrane on Saturday, October 21st,, 2017 from 2:30 pm to 5 pm and followed by a celebration of life at the funeral home.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : feu Thomas, feu Cecile (George), Dorothy (George), feu Dwight (Rollande), Daisy (Garfield), feu Peter (Ethel), Bernice, Stanley (Elizabeth), feu Ronald. Emma laisse aussi dans le deuil 38 petits-enfants, 81 arrière-petits-enfants, 67 arrière-arrière-petits-enfants, 3 arrière-arrière-arrière-petits-enfants, Plusieurs nièces, neveux, autre parents et amis. Elle fut prédécédée  par ses parents George ’’Dot’’  et Annie Carey (née Smallboy), ses frères et sœur George Carey, Jim Carey, Grace Corston (née Carey, Mike Corston.

La famille accueillera parents et amis à la Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70, 7e Ave, Cochrane, le samedi 21 octobre 2017 de 14h30 à 17h  et une célébration de vie suivra dans le salon du funéraire.
