Mr. Donald Gauthier

July 2nd, 1968 ~ June 14th, 2017

With great sorrow his family announces his sudden passing on Wednesday June 14th, 2017 at the Lady Minto Hospital at the age of 48. He was the son of Roland & Pierrette (nee Lambert) Gauthier. He leaves in mourning his wife Lisa and his children: Patrick Crispin of B.C., Chantal Dubroy of Timmins, Jonathan Thompson of Kenora, Léo Gervais of Sudbury, Don Gauthier Jr. of Timmins, Micheal Thompson of Cochrane, Stephan Thompson of Cochrane, Stephane Gauthier of Montréal, QC.

Donald also leaves in mourning his grandchildren: Hazon, Kirah, Jaylah, Bryson, Paige and Dawson.

He was the brother of Marjolaine Gamache and uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too many. He was predeceased by his uncle Luc Lambert.

Donald liked the great outdoors, going fishing; 4-wheeling, working in the garage to fix anything that had a motor for his children.

Visitation will be held Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70, 7th Ave, Cochrane on Sunday, June 18th, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9pm. The Funeral will be held on Monday, June 19th, 2017 at 11 am at the Génier Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

C’est avec tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu subitement le mercredi 14 juin 2017 à l’hôpital Lady Minto, à l’âge de
48 ans. Il était le fils de Roland et Pierrette (née Lambert) Gauthier. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Lisa et ses enfants: Patrick Crispin de C.B., Chantal Dubroy de Timmins, Jonathan Thompson de Kenora, Léo Gervais de Sudbury, Don Gauthier Jr. de Timmins, Micheal Thompson de Cochrane, Stephan Thompson de Cochrane, Stephane Gauthier de Montréal.

Donald était le grand-père d’Hazon, Kirah, Jaylah, Bryson, Paige et Dawson. Il laisse également sa sœur Marjolaine Gamache ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.  Il fut prédécédé par son oncle Luc Lambert.

Donald aimait le plein air ; aller pêcher, faire du 4 roues et travailler dans le garage pour réparer tout ce qui avait un moteur pour ses enfants.

La famille accueillera parents et amis à la Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70, 7ieme Ave, Cochrane, le dimanche  18 juin 2017 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Une célébration aura lieu le lundi 19 juin 2017 à 11h au salon funéraire. Père Fernand Villeneuve présidera la célébration.
