C’est avec une profonde tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu le dimanche 28 janvier 2018 à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 85 ans. Elle était l’épouse de feu d’Alexandre Cloutier, et la fille de feu Ferdinand  et de feu Emilia (née Ethier) Génier. Elle laisse dans le deuil son ami M. Marcel Claveau, ses enfants : Yvon (Marney) Cloutier de Strathroy, ON, Marcel (Cheryl) Cloutier de Kapuskasing, ON, Line (Robert) Cloutier-Gariup de Bruxelles, Belgique, Nicole (Amir) Cloutier de Toronto, ON, ses petits-enfants: Penny, Melissa, Amy, Martin, Roxanne, Natalie, Mian, Julia, ses arrière-petits-enfants : Trevor, Keston, Hailey, Jaden, Isobel et son arrière-arrière-petite-fille Madi-Lynn.

Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses frères: Aurèlien Génier et Guy Génier ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents, amies et amis.

Elle est allée rejoindre son époux Alexandre, ses parents et ses frères et ses sœurs: Arthur Génier, Eusèbe Génier, Vinelda Génier, Claire Chauvin, Azilda Coulombe, Rollande Cheff, Doris Génier, Noëlla Deneault et Aurèl Génier.

Darquise était membre des Filles d’Isabelle et aussi du club d’Âge d’Or. Elle était beaucoup impliquée avec la paroisse de la Transfiguration. 

La famille accueillera parents et amis à la Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70, 7e Ave, Cochrane, le jeudi 1er février 2018 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et ainsi le vendredi 2 février 2018 à partir de 9h jusqu’à 10h. Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 2 février 2018 à 10h30 à l’Église Transfiguration de Cochrane. Père Hervé Sauvé présidera la célébration. L’inhumation aura lieu au Cimetière Catholique de Cochrane au printemps et une réception suivra sous-sol de l’église.

With great sorrow her family announces her passing on Sunday January 28th, 2018 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexandre Cloutier, daughter of the late Ferdinand and the late Emilia (née Ethier) Génier. She leaves in mourning her companion Mr. Marcel Claveau, her children: Yvon (Marney) Cloutier of Strathroy, ON, Marcel (Cheryl) Cloutier of Kapuskasing, ON, Line (Robert) Cloutier-Gariup of Brussels, Belgium, Nicole (Amir) Cloutier of Toronto, ON, her grandchildren: Penny, Melissa, Amy, Martin, Roxanne, Natalie, Mian, Julia, her great-grandchildren : Trevor, Keston, Hailey, Jaden, Isobel and her great-great-grandaughter Maddi-Lynn.

She also leaves in mourning her brothers: Aurèlien Génier, Guy Génier as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Darquise was predeceased by her husband Alexandre, her parents and her siblings: Arthur, Eusèbe Génier, Vinelda Génier, Claire Chauvain, Azilda Coulombe, Rollande Cheff, Doris Génier, Noëlla Deneault and Aurèl Génier.

Darquise was a member of the “Filles d’Isabelle” and also a member to the “Club d’age d’or”. She was also implicated with the Transfiguration Church.

Visitation will be held at the Génier Gauthier funeral Home, 70, 7e Ave. South, Cochrane on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 from 2 pm to 4pm and also from 7 pm to 9 pm and also on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 from 9 am to 10 am. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church. Father Hervé Sauvé will be officiating.  A light lunch will be served after the mass. The interment will be held at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery in the spring of 2018.
